If you are bouldeirng near Portland there are several options for camping. Beacon Rock State Park is one of the best options but several others exist. Beacon Rock has camping and is located centrally between many bouldering areas. If you go to areas like Lost Lake, Lost City/Boulder Mountain, or West Fork and Bulo Point than it is best to camp near Mt Hood or Hood River.

Eagle Creek Campground
Location: Columbia River Gorge near Cascade Locks, OR
Distance from Portland: 40 miles east
Perfect for: Waterfall hikers, tent campers
Reservations: NO. First-come-first-served.
Summer rates: $15 as of 2014
